Early on, for instance, I realized that my favorite artist at the time drew fur as spikes protruding from the body and decided that I wanted to draw fur the same way. If you have a favorite art style you like to see and it's simple enough, you may want to examine how they draw things and apply that to your own drawings. I personally use medibang, but there are a few other free art programs besides it if you don't want to spend money on that sort of thing. Since you're using a drawing tablet, you may want to use a different program than Microsoft paint to get more detail later on. It also doesn't hurt to play around with your drawing program to familiarize yourself with what each tool does if you haven't already. After that you can try adding volume to the stick figure with triangles and so on overlayed on the lines, again trying to match the general shape of what you're drawing. Just try to get a representation of what you're seeing on paper, even if it's just a stick figure, you want to try to match the pose if it's an animal or person. Do you want to have your own style? Draw from photos. For instance, do you want to draw comics? Start looking at comics and see what you like about them and dislike, then try to emulate what you do like. You may want to start by looking at a reference image of what you want to draw.
